"Paste-Pot-Pete" / "The Lady From Nowhere"
"Paste-Pot Pete" - After helping out the Avengers in issue 6 of their own mag, Paste-Pot Pete gets early parole, which he uses to get an early revenge on the Human Torch. He equips himself with new gear, swearing that "no one will ever consider [him] a bumbling clown again!" He tackles the Thing first and the Torch second, ably defeating them individually, but completely lacking any preparation for their joint efforts.
"The Lady From Nowhere" - Dr. Strange notices a woman walking as though entranced. He follows her, leading her toward him home. His studies reveal that she was sent from the past in this state. With the Ancient One's help, he travels back in time to find her enchanter. He is immediately imprisoned, making it much more likely that he'll still be in the past before his window of opportunity to return is closed.
