CGC Announces In-House Private Signing with Comic Book Artist Jonboy Meyers

CGC welcomes back the talented Jonboy Meyers!

 

 

CGC is excited to announce that we will be hosting another exclusive In-House Private Signing with the supremely skilled comic book artist Jonboy Meyers! Meyers has worked for many of the biggest names in the industry, including DC Comics, Marvel and BOOM! Studios. In addition to signing, he will be offering a limited number of Remarques and Sketches for purchase. See pricing and details below.

Meyers has illustrated covers for Marvel fan-favorite characters like Spider-Man, Venom and Hulk. He has also worked on top-bill DC Comics series like Teen Titans, Justice League of America, Supergirl and Batman. Recently, he worked on the highly successful Stray Dogs series for Image Comics. In early 2023, Meyers is slated to have variant covers published on the series Harley Quinn and Superman.

If the In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled. 

After Meyers signs the submitted books, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. If CCS pressing is also requested, the turnaround time is estimated at eight weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Glossy covers will not be accepted for Remarques or Sketches. Also, Meyers will not be signing any copies of BRZRKR #1.

The CGC In-House Private Signing fee for Jonboy Meyers is $85 per item and includes: 

  • Jonboy Meyers’ signature 
  • Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC grading 
  • Estimated turnaround time of eight weeks for CGC grading and CCS pressing (an additional $20 fee applies for CCS pressing)  
  • Encapsulation with the iconic yellow CGC Signature Series label   

The CGC In-House Private Signing fee for a Jonboy Meyers Remarque is $220 per item and includes:

  • Jonboy Meyers’ illustrated Remarque. Submitters may request the desired Remarque. Important: The final design and subject matter of the Remarque is at the artist’s discretion. CGC cannot guarantee Remarque requests. Limited to the first 20 submitters. Glossy covers will not be accepted for Remarques.
  • Jonboy Meyers’ signature
  • Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC grading
  • Estimated turnaround time of eight weeks for CGC grading and CCS pressing (an additional $20 fee applies for CCS pressing)
  • Encapsulation with the iconic yellow CGC Signature Series label 

The CGC In-House Private Signing fee for a Jonboy Meyers Sketch is $535 per item and includes:

  • Jonboy Meyers’ Sketch. Important: The final design and subject matter of the Sketch is at the artist’s discretion. CGC cannot guarantee Sketch requests. Submissions must be a blank Sketch cover. Limited to the first 7 submitters. Glossy covers will not be accepted for Sketches.
  • Jonboy Meyers’ signature
  • Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC grading
  • Estimated turnaround time of eight weeks for CGC grading and CCS pressing (an additional $20 fee applies for CCS pressing)
  • Encapsulation with the iconic yellow CGC Signature Series label

All submissions must be received by CGC no later than Friday, April 7, 2023, to qualify for this private signing event. No change requests will be accepted after Friday, April 7, 2023.
