CGC is excited to announce that the Signature Series team will be hosting an exclusive In-House Private Signing with veteran comic book creator, Barry Grossman! Grossman began his career at Archie Comics and went on to work for other enormous companies like Marvel, Disney and Warner Bros.

During his time at Archie Comics, Grossman worked as a writer, editor and main colorist. He then went on to work for Marvel Comics where he spent decades working on top series like Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Ironman, Avengers, Hulk and Fantastic Four alongside legends like John Byrne, Steve Ditko, John Romita, John Buscema, Carmine Infantino, Rich Buckler, George Perez, Keith Pollard and Gene Colan.

In 1996, Grossman won the top 5th colorist award in Comics Buyer’s Guide. During the later years in his career, he colored for Disney, Warner Bros., TMNT, Sonic the Hedgehog and select independent labels. Throughout his career, Grossman has used different pen names. While at Marvel, he used the name “Ben Sean.” For Disney, he is credited as “Barry Englin.” And for his work on Archie, Sonic and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he used his full name, “Barry Grossman.” He now works full-time on color commissions.

“The Signature Series team is thrilled to welcome the talented Barry Grossman for this In-House Private Signing,” said Brittany McManus, CGC Signature Series Director. “During his decades-long career in the industry, Barry has colored many incredible pages! We look forward to welcoming him for the signing and offering another fantastic signature opportunity for fans!”
